Acorn Woodland Elementary 

Biography:

Ms. Simpson is currently teaching 3 rd grade students at Acorn Woodland Elementary. She has worked for the Napa Valley and Oakland School Districts in California. She recently co-wrote and published a book on preventative health called Nutritional Flow. Previously, she worked for the NE Department of Education with the Migrant Education Program. It was there that she first began working with immigrant and refugee families from around the globe. She volunteered teaching English Language Learner classes for nearly 7 years with the community center El Centro de las Americas in Lincoln, NE. She is excited to
work with the diverse culture of Acorn Woodland and loves helping students learn and grow.
